On June 30th 2020, the Raindance Film Club joined 16 Days 16 Films in raising awareness for the global campaign to end domestic abuse and sexual violence. After a virtual screening of four of the winning films from the 2019 edition of 16 Days 16 Films, a panel of filmmakers and activists came together to discuss what it is that makes these films so compelling and what the challenges of the campaign to end violence against womxn are.
